harder to find than the 1999 limited edition - this issue has one yellow and one white hatch as did the very first 1960`s issues of this corgi classic toy- the 1999 issue and later original issues having 2 red hatches-

also complete with 4 mint highly detailed hand painted white metal Beatles figures (still sealed)

the yellow submarine has pop up hatches which when opened reveal the beatles george & ringo at front john & paul at the back- when pushed the persicopes rotate

the display box is in ex++ condition having just the lightest signs of age/storage

This an original 1964 issue of the “flip your wig game “

manufactured by milton and bradley (MB) in the USA as catalogue number #4404

released under licence to NEM`s enterprises

in exceptionally good condition for its age and as far as I believe complete

designed for ages 7 to 15 the object of the game is to collect four cards of the beatle you are playing( ie 1 x signature card, 1 x picture card , 1 x instrument and 1 x hit record )

the game`s contents are :

 4 wooden mounted beatle face palying tokens (ex+)

1 hinged playing board (ex+)

24 flip your wig cards( ex to vg)

20 beatles cards (ex to vg_)

inner box including full instructions ( vg++ with just some wear on some joints

outer box and lid all vg+ except for 2 corner splits and some occasional light staining and wear

the game has obviously had light play wear but overall still solid and a very presentable piece of authentic beatles memrobilia

The now very collectable 1997 ISSUE BY Corgi a UK based diecast manufacturer- The same company which produced the original 1960`s yellow submarine. Each Model is highly detailed the yellow submarine an exact replica of the original complete with revolving periscopes, pop up hatches which reveal the Beatles figures. All models are the larger scale issues unlike the year 2000 issues.
